The United Nations Association in Canada – A Leader in Youth Engagement

UNA-Canada is an historic, national charitable organization with a mandate to educate and engage Canadians in the work of the UN and the critical international issues that affect us all. We grow global citizens by investing in children and youth, bringing empathy-based educational resources on health, citizen education, diversity, peace and the environment to youth within Canada and in the world’s poorest countries. As the leading policy voice on multilateralism in Canada, UNA-Canada holds the elected Chair of the World Federation of UNAs representing global civil society.

UNA-Canada hosts The New Diplomacy of Natural Resources, which brings graduate scholars, academics and stakeholders together to discuss the natural resource sector; the prestigious and highly competitive International Development & Diplomacy Internship Programme, matching talented Canadian graduates with UN agencies around the world in internships with a very high success rate in follow up employment; high level debate and dialogue on emergent global issues through a Canadian lens; and, we bring the UN Season to schools and communities around the country towards building a better world through a stronger more effective United Nations.

UNA-Canada has active branches across the country. Become more engaged as a volunteer or donate now at www.unac.org
